Dressage saddle for short backed cob

Having a bit of a saddle fitting nightmare. :confused: Saddle fitter been round twice so far and we're no closer to finding a dressage/working hunter saddle (want to steer away from GPs) that fits both my boy and me - ones that fit him don't fit me and vice versa.

Him: 15hh, hw cob with wide shoulders and a very short flat back but decent withers
Me: 9 stone but with a fairly decent amount of bum

His back won't allow anything bigger than 17" but I'm finding 17" dressage saddles too small for my backside and end up sitting near the back of the saddle (only two fingers between the end of my bum and the end of the saddle). Saddle fitter says that he can't put a bigger saddle on my boy but at the same time I can't ride balancing at the end of the saddle.

Does anyone know of any dressage saddles which are short but also have a decent amount of seat in which to sit in?

Jeffries Piaffe - they fit quite wide as well. Tavia had one before she had the WOW and that was a 17" which my 'ample' backside fitted in fine. They are quite close contact with a flattish seat - the pic makes the seat look quite a bit deeper than it really is (unless they've changed the design since I had one) I paid around £800 for a new one 5 years ago

Found this website with them on at £750 saying that's with £240 off, so just under £1K according to them. You'd probably pick one up 2nd hand but really need to see if the tree shape suits you/naglet.
