Went for a lesson tonight. Found out when I got there I was being taught by an instructor I had years ago who scared the life out of me. Good lesson on very sweet pony and at the end of the lesson he said I was understimating myself and had ridden well - and he said I could join the dressage club! :D So I was chuffed to bits (and also thought that the dressage club would be a good chance to get to know owners and maybe one day lead to a share...)

Thanks Trundlecat - the next meeting is on 1st august. Am a bit nervous but what is the worst that can happen?! :p

That's great,I hope it does help you find a share, I have been toldj oining riding clubs etc can be a good way of finding something and (I'm assuming dressage is your thing?) as it's a dressage club the horse and owner are likely to be interested/good at the same sort of riding too.

Thanks Hippyhorse. Can't say dressage is my thing at the moment, but I've always wanted to try it!
