Question in the title really...I have read through the previous threads on Easytrek saddles but there is nothing very recent and wondered if anyone had actually bought one....or seen one 'in the flesh'. From most of the earlier threads they sound as though some of the saddles in question are different versions to the one I have seen. As I said..I've read the previous cautionary posts and really only wanted to hear from anyone who had first hand knowledge...
If anyone can add a link for me, that would be great...can't work out how to do it..:o

I've Just bought one - and have to say up to now I love it.
i know alot of poeple on here will say that the quality cannot compare to ansur / heather moffett etc - and thats fine - I'm not looking to get into a debate/argument on which is better - just offering my opinion here :o - I totally see where they are coming from, but for me spending approx £1000 at this time for something he may not like (and I'm talking about the whole treeless concept here) was not an option. I paid £200 plus postage
I have a very stressy horse who lets me know in no uncertain times when he's not happy - by putting in little bucks or tanking off a bit or tensing up and making that horrid oinking noise
I've ridden him in it three times so far and he seems really happy, I can get alot more collection in his canter, and he is alot more relaxed through his back - got himself all tense before and seemed a little 'scrunched up'. He is more forward going in that he is more responsive and willing - but less forward going in that his canter does not degenerate into him snatching the bit and tanking off...and feeling well - a little rushed/panicked if I'm honest.
...should say that I was riding in an adjustable gullet wintec dressage before - which I'm not going to slate!! - it was very useful while he was growing and changing shape...and I'm selling it off on ebay :D - ....its horses for courses with treeless, there is a lady on my yard who is a devout treeless/bitless follower and she has recently returned one of her horses to a wintec treed, if she can she whats right for one is'nt right for all I guess we all can.
the only point I would add is that I ride him in it with a prolite wither pad to give extra wither clearance....
I have also tried the saddle on my roly poly mare, and will be buying her one...I'd ride in a standard numnah with my roly poly one.
So there you go... my opinion having bought one. I'm sure others will differ, but it IS only my opinion having tried it.

I too decided to try one in the end , having emailed a couple of people who had already bought one, and I have to say I was very impressed with the quality of the leather. However there was absolutely no way it was ever going to fit my boy .No numnah or riser pad or treeless pad was going to get it off his withers..so I sent it back and they were very quick when it came to the refund. Will stick with my Wintec..;)

unfortunately that is what happens with cheap saddles of this type, there is not enough structure and thought into the design.

just bought one and the glued cantle came unstuck on first hack, not impressed with quality i'm affraid.
the idea of the fitted spinal clearance ok providing the company says not for wide horses, they are for up to med/wide, not the low withered type. too tight for my lad.
on right tracks, just quality control needs bit more work if asking £275
