Which is your favourite cooler rug on the market?
I think mine has to be the Equenox Gulliver, Shay was rather wet yesterday (he has sweated and I had washed him down and then there was the rain!) put his Equenox on him and loaded him, but the time we got home he was bone dry and the rug had little droplets of water on the outside, I was very impressed.

I would say the thermatex takes some beating, but then I think It was the first of its kind. I also have a Mark Todd one which seems to do the job just as well.:)

I have an (old) Coolmasta which is just amazing. Its another one where the water ends up on the surface of the rug:)

I love my Thermatex, IMO nothing matches them for drying off a wet or sweaty horse in cold weather.
For milder days I've also been very pleased with my WB Thermocell.

not a well known brand, but our horse has a Salamo Traditional cooler, which is very nice, bought it from Badminton for £16!

Buccas cooler, best IMO. Shavings don't stick to it, fits well around her broad shoulders, washes easily, not as heavy as thermatex. Can be hard to get, local saddlers sells out quickly.

I loved the Classic rugs, sadly they are not available anymore. Still hanging onto two I've had for years.

Hmm, think it would have to be thermatex or coolmasta. Spoilt horse has both, so we use the thermatex in the winter and coolmasta in the summer :)
