Just a quickie - wondered how much you all pay for the dentist. I have one coming out next week and just intrigued how costs differ around the UK.
Also if anyone can recommend a good one in the Berkshire/Oxon/Bucks borders area would be good to know - Thanks :)

Mine is £30 for the 6 month rasping session! I usually drive down to him as hes not 2 far away so saves on the call out fee!

My dentist is very good, about 50quid a session. Sam has quite bad teeth, she thinks he has never been done before, just had a session and she coming back in August to have another go - under sedation as he has a cracked tooth bless him!
I am in Bershire and I think she covers Berks/Hants/ox. PM me if you would like her number

Mine covers Cornwall & Devon and charges £40 for one or two horses then if you have three or more done it is £30 each. She is brilliant...I would recommend her to anyone in the far South West who can't find a good EDT.

I pay £35 for call out and rasping but more if other treatent needed. I know of other dentists in my area charging £25 but only trust my bloke so always have him (nottingham)

The one that comes out to us at work (Bucks) was £37 and took about half an hour on each horse. Was really good and let me put my hand in to feel what was going on

I had a guy before who was £25 plus £5 call out but i arranged it with other liveries and some how on my day off ended up holding 4 other peoples horses!!!! never again!!

I have recently used my vets who are about £30

£15 :D check and rasp. Most of the people on my yard use the same person at the same time so I assume that helps to keep his costs down.

£35 checks and rasps - not had anything else done so don't know if it would get more than that. he travels a long way to get to me so there has to be loads of people in the area wanting him - no call out fee that way.

Ours has a zone thing going he is in a certain area each day of the week , my area is a Thursday and we don't get charged for him coming to us, the last time he was here both ponies got their teeth rasped and it cost £51.00 which is not cheap. After looking at some of your prices I don't think I am getting such a good deal anymore

for call out / checkout + rasping £30

but lots of other people got it done at the same time so i guess that reduced my callout fee!:D:D:D
