Does anyone know where I can find a nice coloured ribbon browband at a reasonable price? I'm only doing 1 show, for fun, so I want something nice but dont want to be spending £30 on it!
Was looking for something possible purple/black/silver if that helps :)
Here's a pic of the pony it's for:

Also, I'm only doing fun classes (best turned out & handsomest gelding!), does it matter that his noseband has the flash loop on?

Have you tried ebay? There's usually loads on there.
Or if you're feeling creative, you could buy some ribbons and wrap them around your existing browband.

I'm thinking of getting one like the top one in the pic on here:

I'm looking at ties too, and theres one which is purple with fawn spots... Might be a silly question, but does anyone know what colour fawn is?
And has anyone ever cut the flash loop off their bridle, would that be possible without ruining it??

P.S. xxgeorgiexx - no he's all mine sorry :p and he knows he's gorgeous too! always using it to get out of trouble

I'll buy another noseband as well to add to the showjacket, jods, boots etc that I've just bought/need to buy  I really need to go to some more shows to justify this I think! :p
titch_ thanks a lot!! PMing you now :)

I cut the loop off my old bridle:

It did leave a lump, but once I rubbed boot polish onto the raw edges it didn't really show unless you were close up. I personally think it looks a damn sight better than an empty loop, but a judge might be unimpressed! I'd be inclined to get a cheap plain hunter-type noseband for your boy.

I'm selling a couple of velvet ribbon browbands for £4, but they are full size and not the colour scheme you want unfortunately. :(
