Hi,

I currently feed my horse on beet pulp, chaf and pony nuts. would like to giver her a little bit of variety and have tried some mixture and conditionsing cubes but its sends her loopy. What other things coud i try? theres not alot of grass at the moment, so one of my friends suggested grass cubes? any advice appreciated.

i use the same but also add mixed flakes and a conditioning show mix called frickers, all the horses have it and it sends none of ours loopy :)

You could try feeding her redigrass to make up for the lack of grass. How much work is she doing? How old is she and what breed is she?

If you want to give her varity then why are you changing her food? if shes happy on it then leave the main bit as it is. Give her a change by one day having carrots, the next apples and pears , the next parnips and turpips, the next sprinkle in some polos, also you could add a nice gp supplement such as codlivine herbs.. smells delicious.

at least that way its healthy gives them something different to eat with their food, and a lot cheaper.
