Today me & Flynn went to a BE Intro :) We should have been going to Harrogate but it was cancelled, but luckily enough we managed to squeeze into one of the Intro sections at Stafford at v v short notice. Here's how we got on!
Dressage - OMG :eek: It was soooo pooo! Flynn was chucking his head about all over the place so I just went for accuracy, so we didn't get any less than a 5 for anything, but our score (42.6) was joint last. Oh dear.
SJ - this was up to height and lots of horses were getting time faults, so the time was tight. To add to the fun the heavens opened while we were warming up. Flynn was jumping beautifully though, and he jumped a lovely clear within the time :cool: I didn't even notice the rain, I was concentrating that hard - must be a first for me cos I don't normally do concentrating :p
XC - Flynn flew! He stormed around, took strides out, went straight over the sunken road combination that caused loads of problems, galloped through the water & finished like a train. Clear! And within the time!! So we finished on our dressage score. And....we got our highest place ever, ninth from 41 in the class, so we got a ribbon :D
