I have just come home from the BEST cross country lesson I have ever done. I am starting to feel like a real rider and it is the most fantastic feeling ever.

However, I have no pictures of X country so I can't show my OH what I did. I would love for someone to post some X country pics so I can show him the type of things that I can do.

Thanks x

love the old school photos Wally! I guess a hunt cap (minus chin -strap) was standard attire not really that long ago!

A-hem, I did have a chin strap:D :D You just can't see it as I always wore it around the back of my head as it stayed on better that way and didn't get knocked forwards if you came off, and it couldn't go backwards either.

Didn't have one of those medical arm bands that seemt to be all the rage :D

Thos photos were all taken back in the late 70's early 80's....got older and wiser and broken bones since then and keep all 4 feet on the ground! ;)

All that body armour and crash hats are for whimps ;) ;) in my day we were hard!....I have got squdgier as I got older! ;)

whatever

but the nanny state insists we become wimps to even hack round an xc course these days :o
