now obviously im going to be calling the vet out but i was wondering if any chance any 1 else has had this and is it infection caused by the flies ?? im worried sick this might be a tumer behind his eyes

Do you mean there is a cloudy /milky appearence on the surface of the eye, or a cloudy bit inside the eye.
Tumours rarely happen bilaterally, usually only one side is affected, so if both eyes are the same it's unlikely a tumour anywhere.
Horses have a naturally cauliflower/rain cloud shaped structure coming out of the pupil that's perfectly normal.

yeh its coming from the corner of his eyes over the top its quite hard to type and describe it ...
its not covered his eye its just forming in the tear ducts, so today all i have done is flushed it with boiled water.... my friend suggested golden eye drops fromt he chemist to try 1st before i call the vet out but she seemed quite worried about it which has set me off, coz i go to her for my advice

It sounds like conjunctivitus to me, I have a mare with it at the moment, her eyes are wattering, and have what looks like a lot of white goop
My vet advises tea bags are the best things to use on eyes, use a tea bag in your cuppa, and save it in a little water, and simply wash the eye with the old tea bag and cold tea water
I've used tea on eyes for yrs, on me, horses, dogs, geese, ducks etc etc its well worth a try, and wont do any harm
I'd bathe the eyes twice a day for a week, using new water / tea bags each time, so not to re-introduce the infection
