Affiliated competitions are run to a set of rules and regulations and have "proper" judges - ie judges who have had to prove competence in which ever sphere they judge.

In the context of showjumping 'affilliated' is short hand for BSJA competitions only.

afilliated means that it is and regostered with say the bsja(british show jumping asociation) with qualifie judges ect. unafiliated is the saem but it isnt afiliated and u dont have to be regiisered to jump in that competition. x

You can win money in unaff. aswell, usually not as much though.
