Hello - new rider!

Hiya, I see there are some new riders the same age as me (34). I'm fulfilling a childhood dream of riding and have had two lessons in the last couple of weeks. My RI is great and said I was doing so well I tried a canter - wow, it was thrilling!

My inner thighs are hurting and finding there is so much to learn and put together but I'm thrilled to have taken the first step. Looking forward to picking up tips and sharing experiences.

have you got any photos of you and RS horse ?

No, not yet. I really want my hubby to watch me ride but after an exuberant first lesson (excited and pleased how well I got on) I found my second seemed much harder - probably because I was anxious to do as well and putting more stuff into practice, plus horse was a lazy get. I now think I'll wait til I've had a few more lessons to invite him along!

Curious to see what I look like on a horse though and see lots of people post pictures seeking advice on position etc.
