Trailblazers Dressage

I don't really know much about this, does anybody konw how you go about entering and when does it start? What sort of level do you have to be at or can anybody try, nearly forgot it's for my 12 year old daughter is there any age limits, well done for following all of that:o

Not sure about age limits, but I'm about to start Trailblazers this year.
Level starts at walk-trot and then works through the standard BD tests.
To join, you generally need to register for your first comp & they will send you a Trailblazers form at the same time - you can also usually register on the day if you just turn up (although probs won't be able to compete that day!).

my horse did trailblazers last year at prelim and novice level and qualified in all.
you turn up on the day, fill in a form, get a trailblazer number and then go and compete. DONT leave the show without your trailblazer number (its a nightmare) then you can go to as many qualifiers as you can all over the country, then you can do the next rounds as many times as possible etc. but only the top 3 go through i think.

It is exciting and competitive, but its down to individuals as usual, and they have some pretty spooky arenas.

There is a website for Trailblazers, google it and you will find it and all the info will be on there of where the shows are in your area etc etc

I know that the final has just recently taken place, I think it was end July/Beginning Aug.

Check with the show centres near you if they do Trailblaizers. Sometime it will tell you on the schedules if it is qualifiers for it or not.

I think the first rounds usually start about Sept/Oct and run until Feb/March with the second rounds about March till June and then the final at stoneleigh in August.
