Having bought my pony I previously shared and knowing that she is an extremely talented jumper I want something to strive towards for next year. I'm eager to do WH rather just showjumping as she will be 15 next year although due to be very low mileage is still in amazing shape.

I wondered if anyone knew whether there was a version of the Champs of GB that has just been held at the David Broom Equestrian Centre that included Working hunter classes as well.

It just looks really fun to a weekend of events with camping etc and wondered if anyone of knew of such an event.

There are WH classes at the Festival of Champions (http://www.festivalofchampions.co.uk/). The one at Harrogate had qualifiying classes on the Friday rather than just being open to the prequalifiers. Entry fees & stabling were reasonably priced & they put on entertainment each evening although we didn't stay over we know quite a few who did & had a good time.

It was a much less intensive experience than the county circuit where everyone is looking for a RIHS/HOYS ticket.

Thanks, we have festival of champions qualifiers round by us, I will look out for those in the 2009 season.
