Can anyone tell me if it is bad form to compete in a winter indoor SJ comp (Beginners & novice class) in a tweed jacket??

I plan to mainly do WH and get myself a nice tweed jacket, one I currently have eye on is £189.00. But also want to do a couple if RC indoor SJ classes over the winter to

a) get experience of show atmospheres for me and my mare
b) get in some jumping practice in competition environment and
c) generally thought it might be fun

I don't want to have to buy a jacket specially for SJ, as that won;t be my main discipline, so I just need to know is it bad form to turn up to SJ comp's in WH gear??

you can wear what you want jacket wise. i can't see why tweed would be offensive, it's suitable for all disciplines.

Thanks Eventerbabe, I do have a friend I can borrow a navy wool showing jacket off should it be really bad form to turn up in tweed. But I would have thought providing your smart it doesn't really matter and you have a jacket of some description, cos people have pink, red, green, black, grey everything these days don't they!
