Adventures of Black Beauty (TV Series)

I remember that series, i used to watch it a lot when i was younger. I think they cancelled it over here though...:( so I haven't seen it in years.

Aw I remember it - used to wait for Sunday afternoons to watch it, then in primary school me and my mates would re-play it in the playground the following day.

Are we talking about the original 1970s series here? Quintessential Sunday afternoon viewing!

I remember the music and opening title sequence more than anything, with Black Beauty galloping across the fields and through that river. That advert for Carling Black Label based on it a while ago used to make me laugh.

I recently downloaded the Black Beauty theme (called 'Galloping Home') from that famous music sharing website that had better remain nameless, along with the music to Follyfoot (by the Settlers.)

By the way, the girl that used to ride Black Beauty (Vicky was she called?) was played in the 1970s series by an actress called Stacy Dorning, who is a distant cousin of mine. (We share a great-grandmother.)

Follyfoot was well , my altime favourite, even visited the farm, i still like the theme music, lighting tree.I just loved the horse copper that was in it. What was the french series, with the greys called , can only vaguely remember this one.:rolleyes:

Black Beauty, Follyfoot and also The French series Sebastien all were inspiring to me, bulding my dreams and wishes of wanting to have a beautiful horse with whom to have a real intimate relationship.
