So today Mrs P went xc schooling at a place near Derby. When we got there I discovered that my RI was actually going to riding one of her youngsters round with me, so that was great fun! Here are some pix.
Mounted instruction in gallop - fab fun!

Jump in a hedgerow that P hesitated at - she doesn't like jumping over field boundaries for some reason.

She REALLY didn't like this log & thought about stopping, then scrambled over and landed flat on her face. It was really quite big! Oh dear I appear to be slightly in front of the movement!! But I did stay on.

2nd attempt - much better!

She napped & stopped at this first time, another field boundary job, but was fine after that

Getting left behind in the water, luckily I have got the hang of slipping my reins when this sort of things happens!

I was really pleased with her. Hopefully this will set us up nicely for doing our first BE Intro in September.
Aaaah Mrs P, u iz lovely!
ETA - big thanks to Crazy Chaz for being fantastic helper and official photographer for the day, cheers you're a star!!
