Hi, I am a complete novice from East London looking for a good riding school nearby. Had one private lesson in Lee Valley but did not like it at all (RI bored, did not look at me or comment on possition, said about 4 sentences including 'How are you') so decided to move to a different place. Found Adersbrook Riding School, twice cheaper lessons and ability to have the same instructor each lesson. Does anyone knows the school? Would you recommend it?

I go there regularly and would definitely recommend it. It is a very friendly school, and you can have the same instructor each time. I also think they have a nice attitude to the horses and ponios - they are very well cared for.

Sorry to hear about your experience of Lee Valley: I had private lessons there a couple of years ago, and had great instruction, from a variety of instructors. Maybe they have moved on? It isn't cheap, though, but I did like the location, the horses and the range of people.
