Growing Pains for Megan?

I'm becoming increasingly concerned about my 3yr old welsh cob x - a few months ago I was turning her out and she was dragging her hind leg then periodically picking which looked like a spasm. I put her back in the stable for an hour the decided to check her again before calling the vet and to my suprise she was fine??? - it haddn't happened again until yesterday but not as severe

A couple of people have told me yongsters sometime suffer with the stifle joint sticking but generally grow out of it and concider them just as growing pains.

Has anyone come across this before?

I think you're right to be concerned, although I'd favour the possibility of a muscle going into spasm somewhere - possibly back or hip - and maybe trapping a nerve? A phsiotherapist or chiropractor might be able to find something that wouldn't be as obvious to a vet.
