NR NE Group Meet

Ok Ali and I have decided that it is about time we had another group meet in the NE. Who is up for it? When, where and what time?

How about a Sunday lunchtime at the Red Lion again (at least we all know where it is!). I can't make the 12th as I'm judging at Holmside but other than that I've got no Sunday competitions until February.

Stephen and I would be up for a NE meet. I think we are free most saturdays in January.

We can do any Sunday lunchtime in January (probably 12.30 onwards as it will take a while to get there if at the same place as last time and we have a 9.30 riding lesson on Sundays). No preferences as to date.

Hi, i was just curious to know what NE stood for, is that North East? Also this meeting that is being organised, did you all meet through New Rider or did you know each other before registaring?

So to summarise:

Date: Sunday 19th January
Time: 12.30
Place: The Red Lion, near Chester-Le Street

Directions for any who haven't been before:

Come off the A1M at Chester-Le-Street and take the A167 towards Durham. This will take you round Chester-Le-Street proper. Stay on the A167, you will pass the Chester Moor pub on your left, then another (I think the Church Mouse, not sure of name) followed by an island. Go ahead at the island still on the A167 and go a bit further on. If I remember correctly the next proper turn right across the dual carriageway is to the Red Lion, it is on the road side so you can't really miss it.

If coming from Durham on the A167 towards Chester-Le-Street it is on the dual carriageway section, located on the right.
Feel free to add to directions, anyone who's got a more precise memory.

Kezzabelle I did not know anyone from the NE before we met but I did find out after being on here for a while that I did know and had met one girl at a group meet for another group I was on. Also I do know Susan C. Again met her through the group meet that I just mentioned.

i havena forgotten your offer of riding lass----just we are having the house valued on monday---and all day yesterday and today i am clean clean cleaning----bluidy hate housework---what a waste of time-------you do it once and then you have to do it all again 6 months later:)


so it's getting a spring clean in january

still on for next sundays meal though---and how about if i come over earlier in the morning and we have a wee walk round the block? would that be okay?
