I am thinking of buying an 'Aspen combo rug' this winter for my mare.
Does anyone have one or any weatherbeeta rugs? What are they like? Do they last?
Thanks

I've not got a Weatherbeta, but I can fully recommend the Fal Pro Viking - its just like a duvet inside a waterproof cover!
My wimpy TB stays out for much longer in all weathers wearing this! They also make a neck cover if you want one.

I actually brought my mare an Aspen last year, it is a good rug, it did keep her dry and warm and stayed in place even during her play sessions in the field! They are nice and deep and when they do get wet, you can actually dry them quiet quickly - also there was no rubbing.
My piece of advise was the sizing, she is normally a 6'6", this was a bit too big but the 6'3" was to small, but then she could be an odd shape!!!!

Evening Peeps!
I have a weatherbeeta and a Fal Pro Viking and I must say that the Fal wins hands down for fit, stayability and no damage at all through the whole winter. Now I just need to clean it!!!

Hi, we have both Fal and WB in use and both are good. Fal are my choice, but we have a pony with a dipped back who simply doesnt fit them. The WB is perfect for him as it is more contoured. Hope this helps.
