Hi everyone!

A am looking to buy another horse but I really don't know how to go about it.

Obviously I know all about Horsemart and all the other sites but I am looking to buy a showjumper that is regestered B.S.J.A. and knows the job. It dosn't need to be top class but still capable of jumping a fair height.

I have limited knowlege of where to get one and I need to be pointed in the right direction.

I am looking to get a 17hh (give or take an inch or two) Gelding around 7 to 10 years old. I would have a maximum of £5000 but I really have no clue.

I know its a long shot but all recomendations and ideas welcome!

Hi

You'd need to be a bit more specific tbh.. when you say BSJA - do you mean registered and would take you round a BN or do you mean a 1.10m or 1.20m horse ? What is a "fair height" ?

Knowing the job is one thing - most horses will get round a BN with their eyes shut - but do you want something that is jumping bigger with experience (bearing in mind if you buy something with a fair amount on it's card (but with the experience) it will take you out of smaller classes)
