I posted these as part of a thread in the cafe area, so apologies if you have seen them before. Just showing off my ponies relatives!
The first one is the Parlington stud that Polo came from (he is officially Parlington Polo!) . They are all miniatures (under 34")but he carried on growing to 39" (9.3hh instead of 8.2hh if my maths is right)! If I remember rightly Parlington Percy is Polo's dad (I'd have to check his pedigree) so little Elsa is his half-sister (incidentally they are the same colour)!

And here is Mac's full brother Eastlands Starlight (Mac is Eastlands McEnroe) - when I saw him in real life he was only a foal - now he is a renowned stallion! He was the first chestnut the stud ever bred, Mac is bay and so are most of the others. Mac's mother must have been bred from for quite a while - Mac is 22 now and Star-light is only 7! His father (Lakeland Lightning) was still running with mares and siring foals at 33 yrs old when I last saw him -in 1995 - I don't know whether he is still alive now - he was a very famous Shetland stallion.
