I have the south island Appaloosa show this weekend. It is a high points show, and the points are tallied towards the big National High points prize!
I am doing a dressage test, a few showing classes (maiden, open and ladies hack) and a show hunter round and a show jumping round. Its going to be great fun! The Sunday which is the day that I am riding on is all English classes, and is open to any breed of horse, so it'll be great to see how the appies compare to them! The Saturday is inhand appaloosa and quarter horse classes and western showmanship etc etc. They have a barrel race and stuff like that, I may enter the barrel race at the last minute for the hell of it!
I am taking Cheeky out there on the Saturday and he is staying the night. There is a barbeque and drinks out there, which will be a little thing for me to do for my birthday :)I am 21 on Thursday :)
So I will try to get as many photos as i can, and have the best time in the world! and Cheeky will feel right at home with his appy buddies :D
