We have a 25ish year old trailer which, aside from needing a new jockey wheel as that one is mangled, is in absolutely excellent condition. I believe it to be a Rice, but have never seen a makers badge. It has lived in a barn for most of it's life, and gets taken out about 6 times a year now that we own it.

The breast bar however is just that - a bar. We do not use the partition, and I would quite like to see if we can get the bar padded out like you would see in the new Ifor trailers. I do not want to use a foam tube and DIY it because of the risk of Daffy chewing at it.

Is it possible to have this done on an existing trailer? Where can I find out who my local company would be to do this sort of thing, as well as general servicing?

Foam covered by a drain pipe of the right size? (can hold in place with self tapping screws thro the pipe and into your exisiting bar.

I wonder if you would be able to replace the partition with an ifor one?

we are having an ifor partition for my master box, you can buy the extra bits and bobs to attach it, so that it will fit (the ones for the stock trailers work out cheaper) and Ifor also sell a full width breast bar.
