Soaked Hay

Hi there.

I soak my hay, and being a waste not want not i am looking for some advice as to how long to leave the hay in my horses stable before it is not worth him eating.


Anything would be greatfully recieved

I soak Merlin's too, and I think the trick is to suss out how much your horse normally eats by weighing it, then you only soak what you know he'll get through.

I prefer not to re-soak it, but occasionally if I've over-estimated his appetite I'll do so; if it doesn't get eaten after that, it goes in the skip.
