I'm asking this of people who DON'T keep their horses at home and have to travel by car to get to their horses.
How long do you spend travelling?

My horse is kept about 11 miles from where I live, and 4 miles from where I work. It taks me approx. 15-20 mins (depending on traffc) to get to yard from home and about 5-10 mins from work... BUT in rush hour from work it takes me a good 30 mins!!!! Grrrrrrr

My pony is less than a mile away from the house so on average it takes about 3 minutes!

At the moment Freddy is at a yard that is 15 mins from home.
Hoping to move closer - 10 mins - but waiting for space to come up at yard we like.

The field is about three miles from home (and work), so on a quiet day, I can make it in about five to seven minutes.
Unfortunately, I have several roundabouts to get round on a dual carriageway, so during rush hour, it can take anything up to 20 minutes to get out of town and into the village

My horse is kept 5 miles away from my house but i have to go through town to get to him so depending on time of day it can vary but usually takes 15/20mins to get there.
In the summer i would like to cycle there and back will save a bit on fuel and keep me fit but i would think it will take me about 35mins to get there.... there are some pretty steep hills to climb!!

I allow 35 mins to get back from the yard to pick my daughter up from school which I obviously have to be on time for. I can do it in 25 mins on a good day. Peak times it just isn't worth setting out

10.5 miles from home to yard (managed to shave .5 mile off lately by going slighly different ay :D) which takes 15-20 mins depending on time of day.
Work to yard is 8 miles but in rush hour can take 25 mins (normally 10-15 mins)
Each day I do 40.5 miles and worse case scenario 1 hour 15 mins in the car total travelling time (2 visits to yard daily)

The yard is 10 minutes away on foot and 2 minutes in the car. I like having him that close because in an emergency the longest it takes me to get there is 10 minutes. Although in an emergency I would be running if I couldn't drive so would only take me 5 minutes. :D

From home: 10 miles/25 min
From College: 35 miles/ Just over 1 hour
I typically go home after school and then go to the barn. It just feel like it takes so much longer if I leave right from school. Of course there are days I don't have a choice. Either way I try to go out to the barn every day
