Hi there Heather

I ordered your book last week and got it today....I thought if you were organising an excellent saddle I was interested in reading more about you and your methods

I must say I am very pleasantly surprised.... and it was money extremely well spent...thank you

I was taught to ride in england but moved to holland before I was 12....they were horrified that I couldn't 'ride dressage' but jumped everything....they were very strict and insisted that until I could ride dressage I couldn't jump....so for years I wasn't that impressed as most kids just like to hoon, have fun and not be boring....

However I am pleased that it did teach me a lot and your book makes perfect sense to me...I feel as though I was taught this way (however I'm not sure that I look as good as I ought)

So for many years I always longed to have my own horse to do dressage...until at the age of 29 I bought a foal...who with good breeding I hope to be able to get somewhere...she was backed late last summer and shows very natural self carriage...amazing for 3.5...I am in no rush to push her at this stage and will not bring her back to work until I have your new saddle....

But I'd just like to say I really like your book...shame you live so far away!!!

BTW can you provide more info on your equisimulator courses???

HI Amanda,

Are you still in Holland, because I also teach there. I will be over in August to do a clinic up at Mensingweer, which is near the German border, but may also be doing something nearer Amsterdam.

I teach the European Space Agency Riding Club, well at least I did for some yeasr, but then the stables that they used at Nordvijk changed hands ( previously owned by a top dressage judge who was a great character and I loved teaching there) and it went straight down the pan with the new owner. I refused to teach there again. They are now trying to find another venue for me to teach them again.

So who knows, we could meet up in Holland yet, and glad you like the book!!
