sounds stupid but..whats colours my pony?

Hi. can anybody tell me what colour my little chap is? havent had him long and i'm sure he's dun and hes previous owner called him a dun but to be honest..i have no idea! some people call him bay some dun! help? haha.
he has dorsal and zebra stripes too. i love his colouring. just not sure what it's called thats all:cool:

I would say from the small pic that he looks light a bright bay, but if he has stripes??? then maybe you should invent a new colour name for him!

ahh he's very similar to that pony in the pic! but brighter! i think i like calling him dun, sounds much more exciting!
anybody got a highland pony? i know one other person with one having the same problem with stuberness as me! wondered if it was just in the highland pony gene!:confused:

is he well behaved? mine is 5&1/2 and i still havent got him good, when i bought him i already knew him and had riden him as he was on my yard but he is just so slow and one min hes fab next not so good. But that could be down to the fact that hes my first pony thats been young? xx

Hi i have a Highland mare, she is wonderful but very wilfull and it takes a lot of persuading to get her to do what you ask of her sometimes. They are great characters though and basically live to eat, mine has practically snatched a whole branch of a tree while out hacking, very embarassing:o

yeah, mine fellas done that numerous times! and tried to take it with him when it just wont fit in his mouth. funny sight! i think he thinks he's a dog!:)
