I'm new!

Hi, I'm new(just recently signed up, but have been reading posts on this site for like 4 months!), I'm nearly 13, and I was wondering if any NZ people on here knew of any equine courses and stuff that was available for my age? I'd appreciate ANY help, as I really really really want to be a Quarter Horse Breeder when I'm older, and want ANY qualifications and courses I can afford, so that I'll be real good. Anyway, I blabber too much :), thanks for the help!

One of your best bets is your local pony club.
Some high schools offer a certificate in horse studies (not many but some).
The Academy has some good ones, but they are for older people I think.

Some of the best advice I can give you, is to volunteer at your local riding school or RDA or something like that. You can learn so much about horses there, until you are older and can go on one of the purpose based courses such as Telford, Kyrewood or the Academy.
Hope that helps :)

This page has a list of contacts for Equine educational Institutes, most are tertiary level but if you were interested you could do something like the "Join Up clinics " , otherwise the PC certificates would be the way to go.
