Girl Jockeys??? Does anyone know...

I know there are some girl jockeys in horse
racing somewhere, but where and are there
any famous ones? I hope that you can answer

I'm not too good on names but there was a lady a few years back who won the British Grand National on a total outsider I think the horse was called Lady Jane or something... If you look on the Aintree website at the past winners there may be something about her there - shes the only one that sticks in mind though I'm afraid!

A famous US jockey was Julie Krone. Sorry, I don't have any information. I'd rather ride than go to the track and bet!

Julie krone is the only famous one. She is retired now :( , but she plans to own and breed so... You could read her book "Riding for My Life"
