hi i have used ice clay wen my bby pulled his tendon, i beg u to try as a patch test first!!!! our vet told us to use it an having it on for a day, his leg started to blister and after washing it off it had left him with the worst type (looked like) mud fever, we had to scrub the scabs off, and had raw skin from his knee all the way to his hoof at the back!! thank god for hoof and heal and aloveria gel(btw reli worth gettin it for the tack box) no scar formed, i dont want to see any other horse go through that, has anyone else had this problem??

I'd have raw skin too if you scrubbed a scab off! Ouch:eek:

Isn't it suposed to be a mild blister?

There are two different sorts of clay. One is meant to be left on for an hour at the most and provides instant cooling but will also blister if left. The other starts off by getting hotter then sets into a mild 'cast' and is left for support for up to 24 hours.
