When someone originally stuck the South West meet-up post under "Mature Riders" I wasn't sure why. Now I know. It's so long since I spent more than an hour in the saddle that I'd forgotten what hard work all this galloping about is, and I aint gettin' any younger :(
Anyway - how's your car, Laetitia? We missed you.
And to Sue "I think you're all nuts" Carnell - hey, did you see that sunshine, Sue? Debbie booked it 'specially. I put my fluffy on under my waterproof and I really wished I hadn't 'cos I came back red as a turkeycock and I don't think I cooled down properly till we left the pub. Mind you, we were riding through woods most of the time so it would have been fairly sheltered even if it had chucked it down (which it didn't :D ).
Hopefully someone else will fill everyone in on the gory details - my fingers are starting to seize up again. Oh yes - who was it that wanted to know how to stretch their legs? You go for a two-hour hack at Periton Park and then ride Merlin for an hour the next day :rolleyes: .
