would just like to say that my horse came in lame with heat in his hoof and i immediately called the vet. ended up he had a suspected bruised hoof or an abcess. that visit cost me £75.23. anyway it happened again and this time i called the farrier who told me it was def. a bruised hoof - cost of visit £0.00 ! can't believe i called the vet 1st time, just an automatic reaction when he came in lame i suppose.:o
