My new trainer recommended that I buy a Rambo blanket for this winter. The only objection I have is that it isn't in red and black (my stable colors). Are BMB blankets as good of quality and as safe as Rambo? I'd like to know because BMB offers more personalization than Rambo.

Dont'know about BMB but I highly recommend Rambo Wug - practically indestructable and really cosy, whatever the weather.

Is there a way to order a Rambo Wug in red and black? I really don't like the purple colors that all the catalogs sell them in.

hello!

By the time Justin has worn his rug for a couple of days, i am sure that you will not be able to tell what colour it was to start with with all the mud on it!

I too can really recommend Horseware Ireland Wug style rugs - both the Rambo and the Rhino are super. Tango wore her Rhino 24hrs a day for 6 months and didn't even have a hint of a rub mark over her shoulders (which seeing as she is a cob is a common problem). They are quite expensive, but in my eyes, totally worth it.

Horseware Ireland have a website http://www.horsewear.com and maybe they can make rugs in different colours but no doubt that would be v. expensive. The Rhino wug comes in a blue and white plaid pattern that is quite nice (till it is covered with mud).

The fit and durability of a rug is far more important than the colour it comes in, sorry i have no idea what BMB rugs are like in that aspect.

bye!

i use a horsewear wug plus on my fully clipped gelding in winter. he is also prone to rug rubs but with the wug there were no signs of any. the wug keeps him clean and dry in all weathers, i can leave it on 24hours a day if necessary. i would highly reccomend the wugs to you, but i also don't know about BMB....sorry!

I just contacted the Rambo Wug company inquiring about different colors. I'll let everyone know the response, though it may take a while.
