I just wondered what the situation is with tachographs in 7.5 T horse boxes, are they exempt or do you still have to fill one out??
If so, how dose it work if you are going to a show for a day, as your going to be parked up for hours?

(Mods thanks for moving my topic, there are so many new areas, this has to be a good thing :) )
That’s interesting to know that I don’t need to fill one out, if I drive a normal 7.5 T truck I need to fill in the taco.
Its good to clear things up

If your horsebox is under 7.5tonnes as registered before 1st April 2007 you're exempt from needing a tacho....
Though saying that, don't think i know any horse owners who could afford a lorry newer than an 07 plate!! :)
