What colour/breeding would say my lil naglet is?? we say hes an appaloosa, but the vaccination card had him down as a tri colourd?

ignore the really pants jumping position but its the only photo i have at the mo that shows his colouring and spotty bum

Looks Appy to me. I am not up on all of the color/coat variations in Appys, but looks like maybe a snowcap(?) or blanket pattern.

also i know theres different types of appaloosa like blanket spot, few spot, leoapard spot etc., what kind do you think he is? :)

Appaloosa is a breed, not a colour.

I would say his colour is bay and he pattern is snowcap. :)

True enough. There are several different coat patterns associated with appaloosa horses (although some appaloosas may be a solid colour).

This horse is probably bay with a blanket pattern. There are a number of different terminologies that fall under the blanket pattern. Snowcap is one of them (which I'd agree with).
