Emotions run high!!

I've just completed a 5 day riding course and over the week have never witnessed or experienced so many mixed emotions. Feelings of frustration, fear, anger and elation - coupled with tears and huge smiles. This sport sure does bring out every human emotion possible. It was quite a week!

Yes, this was the Equestrian Centre Hotel at Hope, nr. Wrexham and yes I did enjoy my stay. It was quite testing for one who only rides once or twice a week, to suddenly ride every day for 3 intensive hours daily for 5 days. We did 2 hours flatwork and 1 of poles/jumping. It was a totally horsey experience - in other words, every waking moment reveloved around discussing yours and others riding skills and experiences and just being arund horses! I have never enjoyed a bath so much at the end of each day! If you want any further info, feel free to mail me direct.

Can anyone tell me how much a holiday like this would cost and do you take your own horse along?

The cost of the 5 days- 3 meals a day, 3 hours riding, was £375.00. Good value I would say. Yes, you are able to take your own horse. How this affects the price, I don't know. Just read your posting. I am glad to hear your course went well, I am surprised you can still walk.

I agree it sounds great value for money, might be worth thinking about for next year depending on my holiday plans.
