...laminate flooring and insulation tape!!....
haha but any old wood will do the job!! Your local scrap yard may have some you could use!

Dad was going to throw away the laminate flooring we had left over, but I stopped him and made these.....

Adding some wooden poles at the bottom soon so they can be put in the ground.

Cheapest set of 8 dressage markers I've seen are about £20...I made mine for a total of £3!

Really good! Just watch that the tape doesnt lift if it gets damp - I had that problem when i tried to touch up my dressage markers. (bog standard metal ones on spikes)

Trust me, that's most definitely NOT a thick question!!

You have to cut off little bits (about a 1-2cm piece) and just place them at angles going round the shape of a "B". Might be easier if you draw the shape on first with a pencil.

You will probably end up with the corners of each piece sticking out, so you can just cut those off. (insulation tape is easy to peel off if you do something wrong!)

But if you can't do a "B" or a "C" like that, then just do square ones like this...

It still looks ok!

For the question about varnish...I haven't thought about that!! I'm not sure if that would work?!?

Yacht or exterior varnish will be absolutely fine. :)
