First jump for my pony first jump for me for last 6 years. Just so proud I had to post this little picture. I lost my nervejumping several years ago so never taught my pony to jump, Desperate to enter the Your Horse comp so has some friends come set up the jump borrowed a saddle and took my boy over the jump. No stopping or rushing just popping. It may be 8 inches but to me it is 8 foot. Didn't even use my looped reins as I was convinced I was gong to fall off so he even did this with nearly no rein contact.

well done on overcoming your lack of confidence with jumping.Your pony looks as though he/she is enjoying it too.Having fun together doing something which you both are enjoying is what makes it so special.

Yes he did love it and I even look like I am smiling I think it was really a grimice of fear of death. My instructor now thinks my pony would benifit from some gymnastic jumping. Any willing junpers out there........................?:eek:
