Well it was the first show of the season at our local Riding Club, so I went and got a new saddlecloth for my boy & cleaned all my tack up, got up at the crack of dawn Sunday morning and out I went to the Show.
I entered for 2 classes, the mini pursuits at 1'9"/2'0" and the mini open 2'0"/2'3", after entering the classes I proceeded to wind myself up & start to feel very ill. I haven't bin in the ring with my boy for over 5 years! OMG i was feeling poorly!
BUT we jumped the first class clear & onto the jump off which just requires another clear over highered fences & a shortened course. another clear! :)
Onto the next class, I was starting to feel quite confident by now, we jumped clear again :D through to the jump off against the clock and about 20 people in it, so i decided to go for a clear round:D which we got!
Im sooo :D :D i feel sooo much better, more confident and feel able to go next time and jump the same classes Whats even more important is my boy really enjoyed himself
IM SOOO PROUD OF US BOTH
this time last month I couldn't pluck up the courage to jump a cross pole!
had to share this with all of you
