The pic needs to be small, under 500x500 pixels and under 52KB. If it is then you can just write the message, go to browse for photos (at the bottom) and select your photo. However the main problem on here is that everyones photos are too big. If this is the case open it in 'paint' then go to Image then stretch and skew and reduce the size until the pixel size is less than 500X500 (you can check this through going to Image, then Attributes). If the file size is too big (this will show up under attributes too) then you can save it as a GIF file (assuming it is already a JPEG not a larger file) if that is not small enough then re-save the GIF as a JPEG, - that normally does the trick.

If anyone has a simpler way of doing this - please let me know:D

Well described EstherD, that is exactly how I do it after alot of trial and error at first. But I have not yet discovered how to put on the little smilies, can you help ?

when you are typing you reply or thread, they are in a box at the side , just click one at it goes at the end of your currant sentance.!:D :D :D like that:D :D

Which little smilies? These that are in the message like this: :D :D or the smilies that appear beside the title of the post?

The smilies all appear beside or above the message text box - those to go with the title of the post appear above and you can choose them by clicking on the little dot beside them. For these smilies:D :p :cool: etc you click directly on the smilies that are beside the message text box. If you want the :confused: smilie too you need to click on [get more] that is at the bottom of the smilie box:D
