Does anyone know any websites where you can locate local bridleways as i am REALLY fed up with having to hack along roads you cant really enjoy yourself as you always have to watch out for traffic and paper bags and other rubbish like that. does anyone else have this problem? and riding in a paddock is just sooooooooo boring.
Thanx

Hi Helan
Try the BHS website at http://www.bhs.org.uk and follow the publications leads. I don;t know where you live but there are various published circular routes plus links to other bridleways associations
Good luck

The BHS have "Bridleway Access Officers" all over the country. How effective they are I do not know but a call to the BHS will establish who your's is. That is not to say that the bridleway wil be usable but it is a start.
Good luck. Also look on your local Ordnance Survey map. Bridleways are marked with long dashed green lines, as oppose to footpaths which are short dashes.
