RIP Beautiful Bonnie

My sisters beautiful ISH Bonnie, was PTS last night after a short but very heart breaking illness. Up until a month ago she was a perfectly healthy horse so full of life, she fell over out riding one day, only 3 days before she was jumping at a show. Initailly we all thought she had put her back out but turned out she had a very rare neurological condition, she had no feeling in any of her legs and in the end was dragging them to move. My sister had to make the heart breaking decision to have her PTS.

Rest In Peace Bonnie, no horse deserved to go the way you did, may you now gallop the fields of heaven forever. You were such a lovely kind caring horse, no one could ask for more of you. You will be forever in our thoughts!!!

How sad. RIP Bonnie.

(I lost a horse a few years ago to something very similar by the sound of it. He had neurological problems and couldn't move his hind legs or balance properly. Heartbreaking to see. He was PTS. :))
