Was just browsing the dealers website that i got Freya from, went onto their sister stud website & saw her on there, on their "to be bred from" list (she was never bred from, they planned to but luckily we got their first!), but they have described her as a "16.1hh Chestnut Sabino TB by Weld".
Now i thought she was just chestnut, and her passport says chestnut. But this has confused me abit.
Could anyone help me decide what she is?

Just a few more things about her colouring which may help :
She seems to be 'roaning', getting white flecks, mostly over her shoulders though. I dont think its actual roaning, but just trying to explain it so you know as pics don't really show it up.
She also has that random little bit of blue in her eye, no idea wether this is colouring or something caused it.
And she has her BendOr spots.

Here's a couple pics to help,

I am thinking she's just chestnut, but its just interesting to know as the dealers reckon she's Sabino.
So just wana clear it up & be sure really.
thanks :) x

The sabino in this instance refers to her socks and blaze -very common and just them trying to big her up.

Yeah i had a feeling they were just trying to "big her up" so to speak.
So you would say she is'nt Sabino, theyre just trying to make her sound 'better'?
I thought she was just chestnut myself, just thrown me abit when i saw her on there.x

Sabino (there are several genes under this label) is what causes her to have white markings - along with thousands of other TBs.

She probably has a form of sabino -does it make any difference? Probably not.:)

Ah okay then, thanks for clearing that up.I know literally nothing about the causes of colouring/genetics etc!
It makes absoloutely no difference to me what she is. But was just curious to find out.
thankyou :) x
