Does anyone recognise this brand?!

My friend has a lovely little mare (about 14.3 maybe) whose history she doesnt know (came from a dealer who imported her). She is branded mid way up the neck (right side) with a crown over a triangle and none of us can trace it. The vet is mystified also.

I can get pictures if they would help.

The mare herself we suspect hackney due to her trot but this is pure speculation. She looks a little warmbloody aswell and is quite flashy in her paces.

Can any NRs shed some light on this for me?

I thought it sounded like an SBS as they have a crown although are branded on their bum and its a B not an A - lol you never know brands can be hard to decifer!

So when i went to show you the SBS brand it appears the Americans have a few different WB's that use crowns - check out the fist one for the American WB!!

the triangle bit is quite strange. its more of an isosolese (sp?) triangle (on its side) and its irregular.

I will have a look at the link posted and try and get some piccies of the brand itself.
