I have a 19hh Shire horse and need someone to break him in. He can have a saddle and rider on his back and a bit and bridle on. However her doesn't understand any aids or contact. Can u recommend anyone? With him being so big he'd need someone fairly large and strong!lol! I'm in Scholes, Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire

Search google or look in classified in a horse mag, while your waiting try walking her round with someone sitting on her back, do trot ect and at the same time to the aids for trot. So she gets used of the idea until she is really broken into.

I'm a member of the Norfolk Natural Horse Group, and there is a similar organisation, the 'Natural Horse Group' based in Yorkshire.

They use lots of 'natural' training methods (including Australian Natural Horsemanship) - it may help with such a big chap! There may be someone there who can help.
