I wondered if anyone could recommend an online shop for riding gear?
I was after jodpurs and a waterproof jacket on a budget.

Our local saddlers has closed due to the recession:( and the only other shop is far beyond my purse at present!

Thanks!:)

Equestrian Clearance is my best friend :p Very cheap, good range and their postage is excellent unlike some others I could mention.

Yes, that's right Robinsons, you sit on your naughty step!

Surreyequestrian.co.uk are excellent for price! rarely beaten, but can be a little slow delivering.

Check out our site which lets you search for what horsey gear you need and then compare retailers side by side. This way you quickly find the best deal :) Hope it helps. Visit Equine Compare (http://www.equinecompare.co.uk/)

BTW we have have good feedback about Surrey Equestrian too, they are one of the many retailers on our website.

Good luck with your shopping :)

These guys are pretty good too - I got some Shires jods for 9.99, postage was quite cheap, arrived quickly.

Since starting riding in Jan, I seem to have developed a jods & boots 'habit' - have far more than I need!!

I vote equestrian clearance although their postage can be quite expensive if your only purchasing something small and light. For likes of rugs etc though it's good.

I was gonna say equestrian compare but someone got in there first. I always use it before I buy any horsey things online to check that I can't get it somewhere else cheaper. Fab site.

I personally like Fast Tack Direct, they are on ebay and have their own website. Cheap but good quality in my experience and the delivery is very quick (I have bought quite alot from them and have no complaints!)

Evilbay, (Have got quite a few bargains on there and I have my eyes on a few more bargains too :D )

Equestrian Clearance have got very good prices, but I haven't ordered anything from them yet and will be bookmarking their site for future reference :D

Robinsons have quite good prices too, but I have only ordered 1 item from them and their delivery service was standard :)

I hope this helps a bit more :)
