This is my friends pony Tommy,she bought him for next to nothing about 5 years ago:) She doesn't know what breed he is ???

Looks Welshie to me, my old New forest is totally different in the face to this pony so wouldn't say there is New forest there.

Oooh, I didn't see the last pic before, doesn't look as dartmoorish now! Not sure, but maybe welshie as others have said?

Looks Welshie to me, my old New forest is totally different in the face to this pony so wouldn't say there is New forest there.

Not all new forest ponies look the same, I one knew a cracker, who I thought was welsh!

He is around 13hh and built like a tank :eek: (,his neck is as big as a section D's);)

from top and bottom pics i would say NF type but middle pic points to welsh type - so i would say NF x welsh! (it's called edging your bets!)

Id defiantley say a welsh x forester
My old mare had a similar build (but ovi not as stocky) so thats defiantley the welsh in him, but does have a new forest head at first glance.

He is gorgeous by the way :D
