Hi
Not sure however this seemed the most natural place to post this query.
I am setting up a Handy Horse course for my yard this Saturday and am looking for ideas for obstacles, here is my list so far in no particular order and I may drop some if i can't source the things I need.

Mounted entry
Salute to judge (before and after)
Walk round open golf brolly
salom cones
walk over tarpulin/ carpet
washing line
small jump
collect jug of water and deposit else where whilst saloming again
dismount correctly
lead in and out of trailer
dribble / bounce large swiss ball through the cones (hope not too windy as we are at the mercy of scottish weather however that might add to interest :D)
immobility when rider walks away (I have been checking out the le trec posts ha ha)
remount from wrong side
open / close string gate
post a letter (not sure where I can find a letterbox though)
write partnerships name on board
move objects from one place to another (bit samey? to the jug of water )
rein back and then salute

How does that sound? Am I being mean??? Have I missed anything?

When i used to do the class with my bomb proof pony they also included:
Loading - up the back ramp and down the front of a trailer ( No partition, and lead not ridden !)

Collecting things with a bucket - most ponies are swines when it comes to a bucket they all associate food !!!

Already got the lead in and out of trailer, however I hadn't thought of using feed buckets as distractions.
Thanks
Lynn
